Policies
Volunteer Guidelines & Policies
To ensure safety, excellence, and compassion in our service, all volunteers must follow these guidelines.
1. Conduct & Values
- Serve with love, humility, and respect for all beneficiaries
- Uphold our faith-based principles in behavior and speech
- Maintain professionalism and kindness during outreaches
2. Attendance & Punctuality
- Arrive on time for outreach events
- Notify your team leader if you will be absent or late
- Only sign up for activities you can commit to
3. Safety Rules
- Follow all instructions from team leaders
- Avoid unsafe locations unless guided as a group
- Do not lift heavy loads alone, ask for assistance
- In case of emergency, alert your coordinator immediately
4. Respect for Beneficiaries
- Do not take photos of beneficiaries without permission
- Avoid sharing sensitive stories online without approval
- Treat every person with dignity, regardless of background
5. Confidentiality
- Keep private information of beneficiaries confidential
- Do not discuss beneficiaries' struggles outside the foundation
6. Dress Code
- Wear modest, comfortable clothing
- Closed shoes for safety
- Foundation T-shirt/ID (if provided) for major events
7. Zero Tolerance
We have zero tolerance for:
- Discrimination of any kind
- Harassment or intimidation
- Violence or aggression
- Misuse of donations or resources
- Unapproved fundraising
Such actions lead to immediate dismissal from volunteer activities.
8. Social Media Policy
- Only post photos approved by the media team
- Keep captions respectful and aligned with our mission
9. Teamwork
- Respect leaders and fellow volunteers
- Support others and communicate clearly
- Ask questions whenever unsure
10. Commitment to Growth
- Attend orientations or trainings when required
- Be open to learning and improving
